Concorde - Supersonic Plane

Did you ever hear about Concorde? If you heard that plane but you don't know what it is, you'll know the answer here and if you never hear anything about Concorde, you'll find the answer here.

That is Concorde but it looks like a simple plane. Concorde was the fastest plane in the world, why? Because it can fly about Mach 2.04 or 694 meter per second! Can you imagine how fast it is? What makes Concorde fly really fast? Below is the answer:

1. Double Delta Wing
2. Variable engine air intake system controlled by digital computers
3. Supercruise Capability
4. Thrust-by-wire engines, predecessor of today’s FADEC-controlled engines
5. Droop-nose section for better landing

Those things are affected the fastness of Concorde. Concorde's first flight is on 2 March 1969. But now Concorde is already retired because a lot of problems. Concorde never used again since 26 November 2003.

Because Concorde's sound is too big and it really affected environment so Concorde is restricted to use. That's one of reasons why Concorde is retired.
